I purchased this heat shield with ghost rings for my Mossberg 500 12 GA shotgun. I am, at best, ok with the results. The plastic sights seem a big cheap and with just a little pressure will move. Also, the shield itself does not attach to the barrel very tightly, even after bending the flanges and tightening down the 2 screws. I think the design on this product could have been better.

soory for the poor review...ordering,processing,and shipping went as expected-all was great...disappointed with the product due to flimsy and cheep compared to the factory heatshield which i put back on an hour after replacing with the new ATI...truely i didnt expect much due to its cheap price...would have been very much worthwhile if it resembled the quality of factory mossberg. thanks anyhow and i shall continue to consider future purchases...

Looks sweet and functions well on my mossberg 500 January 11, 2012

This shield looks sweet on my 500 12g, ATI designed this to be a "custom fit" product in which the user needs to bend in the tabs to create a secure "pressure fit" along the barrel. The tools you will need are a Phillips screwdriver, a allen wrench (hex key), and some pliers.

I wont order ANYTHING from here again I never got half of what I ordered. Then you telll me you cant find any record of it !!!!  But you charged my Credit card $63 dolllars for it!!!!
