This stock helps alot with the recoil of the shotgun.  Also its a must have if you think for one second your girl friend is going to be able to shoot it.  However I will advise that the pistol grip on it is hard plastic and rather uncomfortable.  I've tried finding a cover grip but have had no success.  My advice is to buy some grip tape and put a few pieces around the grip for better comfort and traction.

I like the stock and it's easy enough to install.  The only thing is that it's a bit longer than expected due to the extender adapter off of the upper reciever.  So in the end you only shave off maybe an inch and a half at best, but it still looks cool and spices up the looks of an old shotgun.
